Delivering products that meet or exceed the expectation of our customer.
Force Logic UK load cells are built to stand the test of time. They are capable of millions of cycles and output signals will remain stable and repeatable over the long term.
Every unit is thoroughly tested in its own right for each performance parameter, compensated where necessary, and each product is supplied with its test data to guarantee conformity to the specification.
Load Cell and Strain Gauge products are manufactured at our own premises in Berkshire. They are suitable for both low duty cycle as well as longer term high frequency applications. They can be made suitable for use in the most arduous of environments.
Our customers’ applications and projects are wide ranging. Where a total measurement solution is required, including products beyond the scope of our own activities, we are able to combine our own knowledge and skill base with those of our carefully selected suppliers to provide wider instrumentation systems.
Instead of quoting tight performance characteristics and trusting that all products achieve it, Force Logic UK load cells are graded into accuracy classes based on their actual, individual performance.
As standard, all products are supplied with a warranty and are calibrated against reference equipment which is meticulously maintained and certified, and can be supplied with full UKAS calibration if required.
All low capacity load cells, from 1kg to 250kg are calibrated using traceable deadweights. Higher capacity load cells are calibrated in hydraulic loading systems, against Calibration Reference Load Cells, traceable to National Standards through a UKAS Accredited Laboratory.
Each product is proof tested to 150% rated capacity and calibration data is recorded following three full loading cycles from zero to full scale.
Every load cell is supplied with a Certificate of Calibration and Conformity, quoting the necessary measured data for installation and system calibration. The data contained includes : Full Scale Output, Zero Output, Input / Output Bridge Resistance Values, Insulation Resistance, Electrical Connections,
5-point Calibration Data and Combined Error Data.
All products are fully temperature compensated for both Zero and Span to minimise the effects of temperature gradients during operation. Compensation procedures as standard cover the range 0°C to 60°C. For wider temperature applications, many of our load cells can be manufactured and temperature compensated to operate from -10°C to 150°C.
Under Category 9 of Directive 2002/95/EC, our products are not currently subject to RoHS compliance, although all of our sourced components are fully compliant where necessary.
Products conform to EMC Directive 2004/108/EC; BS EN 61326-1:2006; BS EN 61326-2-3:2006
All products supplied with one-year warranty, effective from date of dispatch, against component, material and workmanship defects, under normal operating conditions and within parameters and limits set out in the specification. Any product found to be defective will be repaired or replaced without charge upon return. Any deemed misuse or modification of products, including attempts to repair, will invalidate warranty.
